In 2007, I used to be dwelling in Australia and searching for one thing to do as a
inventive outlet. I did some water coloration work, performed with silk
portray and even carved ostrich eggs.
I began out shopping for different designers bead patterns and studying
completely different stitches like peyote, brick, loom and so on.
After a number of months I purchased the beadcreator program and began creating
my very own designs. I created my very own web site in 2008 with the design identify
Jaycee.
I dwell again in Africa now and discover inspiration in all the pieces round me,
notably in nature.
My favourite stitches are netting sew and triangle weave, merely
as a result of each of those stitches are so versatile. I like seed beads,
pearls and crystals however I’m not so loopy about provider beads. I do make
a number of patterns utilizing provider beads, however most beaders at all times have seed
beads and both pearls or crystals readily available.
My designs have been printed within the following magazines:
Perlen Poesie, Bead and Button, the Australian beading journal and the South African beading journal in addition to Jean Powers’ ebook Small beads, Huge Jewelry.
I haven’t got a studio sadly, I simply use my magnifying lamp and my eating room desk.
