Bittersweet Necklace Instructions

1. Reduce a 2 foot size of C-Flex Beading Wire .012 Grey. Fold a chunk of tape throughout the C-Flex at one finish. String seven Miyuki 15/0 seed beads, one Swarovski 3mm crystal bicone, and 7 15/0 seed beads.

2. String six Miyuki Berry Beads (BB).

3. String seven Miyuki 15/0 beads, one 3mm crystal, and 7 15/0 beads.

4. Repeat steps 2 and three till there are 17 units of BB.

5. Reduce a second 2 foot size of C-Flex. String seven 15/0 beads, 5 BB, three 15/0 beads, one 3mm crystal, and three 15/0 beads.

6. String 5 BB, seven 15/0 beads, and 5 BB.

7. String three 15/0 beads, one 3mm crystal, three 15/0 beads, and 5 BB.

8. Repeat steps 5-7 till there are 26 units of BB. String seven 15/0 beads to finish the second strand.

9. Heart the beads on every strand. The second strand will likely be barely shorter than the primary.

10. String one 2mm crimp bead onto every strand of beading wire. Move the wire via the loop of the lobster claw clasp and again down via the crimp and seed beads.

11. Flatten the crimp beads with a pair of chain nostril pliers.

12. Reduce off extra C-Flex.

13. Use a pair of chain nostril pliers to softly shut the crimp cowl over the crimp beads.

14. Repeat steps 10-12 and connect a soldered ring to the opposite aspect of the necklace. Take up any slack within the beading wire earlier than flattening the crimp beads.

15. Repeat step 13.

16. This sample will make a necklace roughly 20-21 inches in size.
